According to the WHO and UNICEF, dirty drinking water kills 2.2 million people per year, over 1.5 million of whom are children under the age of five (WHO, 2000). Unfortunately, this means that contaminated drinking water is in a tight competition with diseases like AIDS and cancer to be the biggest killer of human beings on Earth.

What’s more, because most of the victims of water-borne illnesses are children, the impact of the deaths and lifelong debilitations caused by contaminated water have a profound impact on the entire lifespan of the victims, on their families and friends, and on the development of the entire world. If developed countries and regions hope to usher in a new, prosperous millennium for the entire globe, we must first aid the poor countries of the world in obtaining certain basic necessities, foremost among them, Safe Water and Sanitation.

Water purification, or drinking water treatment, is the process of removing contaminants from surface water or groundwater to make it safe and palatable for human consumption. A wide variety of technologies may be used, depending on the feed water source, contaminants present and standards to be met.

With an inspiration from many towards social responsibility, also knowing facts and figures, we too wanted to be a tiny colorist somewhere on this beautiful world canvas. As an initiative, we are offering our Reverse Osmosis Water Purification Products and Services on ‘No Profit – No Loss’ basis, to all registered foundations (NPOs/ NGOs) worldwide who are involved in lifesaving activities, helping in poor people and old age homes,  orphanages  etc.. .

We appreciate your attention and looking forward for opportunities to serve our best. For more details, may contact us on ‘csr@bluelife.co.in’
